ROMEOVILLE – Senior Star at Weber Place Executive Director Tom Johnsrud recently attended the 2017 Alzheimer’s Advocacy Forum in Washington, D.C.
Johnsrud met with key Washington representatives such as U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin of Illinois to discuss the importance of continued research.
According to the latest statistics from the Alzheimer’s Association, Alzheimer’s is the most expensive disease in America, costing an estimated $259 billion in 2017.
Johnsrud joined more than 1300 advocates across the country.
