Will County Sheriff’s Office seeking witnesses of fatal crash

HOMER GLEN – The Will County Sheriff’s Office is seeking anyone who might have witnessed a two-vehicle crash Saturday in Homer Glen that claimed the lives of two people.

The crash happened about 9:50 p.m. on 143rd Street, about a quarter mile east of Creme Road.

Simone Radde, 18, of Homer Glen, and Allan Wisniewski, 26, of Lemont, were both pronounced dead at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox after suffering multiple injuries from the car crash.

Wisniewski was driving at a high rate of speed in his 2012 black Cadillac CTS on 143rd Street in the wrong lane, police said. He came over a hill and struck Radde’s 2001 silver Mitsubishi Eclipse, police said.

Upon arrival at the scene, Will County Sheriff’s deputies found the victims being treated by passersby who were performing CPR. The two drivers were the only occupants of the vehicles involved.

Will County Sheriff’s Deputy Chief Tom Budde said the weather was not a factor in the crash.

Anyone who was in the area of the crash before it happened and may have information to share with deputies are asked to call the sheriff office’s traffic division at 815-727-3263.
