Three Rivers Association of Realtors has announced that Eddie Ruettiger is its 2018 Realtor of the Year.
This honor is given annually to the association member who demonstrates exemplary conduct in their daily duties while working with buyers, sellers and fellow Realtors, gives freely of their time and energy serving on committees with their local association as well as on the state level with Illinois Realtors and is active in their community, according to a news release from the company.
Ruettiger was formally recognized along with all 23 of the state of Illinois’ local association “Realtors of the Year” on April 9 at the 37th annual Realtor of the Year banquet in Springfield.
Since his real estate career began in 2001, Ruettiger has seen the best of times and the worst of times in the housing industry. Education has always been a top priority, as he works diligently at being a student of the housing market. His mission is to use his experience, knowledge and understanding of real estate to empower his clients. He attained his Accredited Buyers Representative designation in 2007.
Ruettiger is a broker with Baird and Warner’s Plainfield office, where he was recognized as having the most units sold last year. He currently is in his fourth year as a member of Three Rivers Association of Realtors Board of Directors and also has served on a number of the association’s committees including grievance, professional standards, YPN and the Realtors Political Action committee.
