Bolingbrook police searching for man who abused teenage girl

Suspect’s last known address was in Darien

Bolingbrook police are searching for a Darien man accused of exchanging nude images and having sexual contact with a 15-year-old girl.

On July 3, Bolingbrook police issued an arrest warrant for Manuel Galindo-Sebastian, 36, of the 2900 block of 87th Street on charges of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, solicitation to meet a child and distribution of explicit material.

The warrant carries a $75,000 bond.

Police investigators received a report that Galindo-Sebastian allegedly exchanged nude images by phone and had contact of a sexual nature with a 15-year-old girl, Bolingbrook police Lt. Anthony Columbus said in an email.

According to the complaint, Galindo-Sebastian allegedly used an electronic device to meet a child at the 200 S. Bolingbrook Drive Walmart.

Galindo-Sebastian knew the girl before the meeting, which occurred in 2017, police said.

Interviews and a forensic analysis of electronic equipment were conducted, Columbus said.
