Lockport (0-3, 0-1) moved the ball inside the Thornton 20-yard line on three different occasions, but had to settle for Ryan Barth field goals, of which he made three.
The Porters lone touchdown came from a 27-yard touchdown run from Austin Hubert in the second quarter. Hubert finished with 111 yards on 20 carries.

Payton Hutchings threw for three touchdown passes as the Coalers picked up an important Interstate Eight Conference win.

Lisle got the better of Wilmington for the first time in 23 years with the Interstate Eight Small victory.
Conner Dempsay scored the lone Wilmington (1-2, 0-1) touchdown on a 10-yard reception from Keaton Hopwood.
Seneca 22, Dwight 15
The Fighting Irish (2-1, 1-0) got two touchdowns from Brady Baudino and another from Logan Bruss to collect a narrow Sangamon Valley Conference win from the Trojans (1-2, 0-1).
