My Joyful Heart, which is based in Mokena, hosted its Caring for Kids Golf Classic on Sept. 10 at Silver Lake Country Club.
The outing presented an opportunity for guests to enjoy a special day of golf, on-course prizes, complimentary lunch courtesy of Badda Bing’s of New Lenox, and a full dinner with silent auction and raffle baskets.
For the third consecutive year, Ziegler BMW of Orland Park sponsored a hole-in-one chance to win a 2018 X2 xDrive28i BMW.
"In addition to ticket sales, cash and prize donations," said a news release from the organizers, "this event was made possible by the generous support of our Eagle sponsors, ComEd, Chicago Pipefitters Local 597, and Meccon Industries, Inc. Birdie and Par event sponsors included Providence Bank and Trust of Orland Park, Thornton Township (Frank Zuccarelli, Supervisor), Illinois Brother of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 21, Electrical Systems Inc. (ESI), and Freedom Roads/Camping World."
