State Rep. Natalie Manley, D-Joliet, helped welcome Gareda Home Care Services to Joliet at their new office at 2450 Glenwood Drive on Sept. 12 for an open house and ribbon cutting.
Joliet Mayor Bob O’Dekirk and Gareda staff including Chief Development Officer Mary Killough, Chief Financial Officer Cynthia Fitch and Community Relations Specialist Patricia Matthews were also present to cut the ribbon.
Gareda has been providing in-home care service for seniors, people with disabilities and veterans since 1981. Gareda also participates in the Illinois Department on Aging’s Community Care Program, which provides in-home care services to those 60 and older and in need of long term care. Gareda opened the Joliet office, the first in 20 years, in order to better serve the residents of Will County.
