Why Pakula was selected: The Lincoln-Way West senior joined teammates Javen Estrada, Payton Geigner, Alex Grenier, Chris Kennedy and Jacob Cronk as individuals who posted 5-0 records to help the Warriors capture the championship of the 16-team Downers Grove South Dual Team Tournament. The Warriors defeated Rolling Meadows, Belleville West, Wheaton Warrenville South, Grant and Barrington by an average margin of 54.0-13.8.

Herron: What do you like the most about wrestling?
Pakula: I like the competitiveness and the nature of the sport.
Herron: What do you like most about this year's team?
Pakula: We have a good group of guys and I like the whole team in general and everyone is cool.
Herron: What do you like best about competing for Lincoln-Way West?
Pakula: It means a lot to me.
Herron: What's your favorite class in school?
Pakula: Gym class because I don't have to do anything.
Herron: What would you like to do in the future?
Pakula: Probably go to Western Michigan and go into finance or criminal justice.
Herron: Do you have any pets?
Pakula: I have a Golden Retriever named Marley and a Newfie named Tucker.
Herron: Who's someone that you would you like to meet?
Pakula: Bo Nickal, a wrestler from Penn State.
Herron: Who's your favorite team and athlete?
Pakula: The Chicago Bears. Anthony Miller of the Bears.
Herron: What's your favorite music and who's your favorite artist?
Pakula: Country music. Jason Aldean.
Herron: What's your favorite food and restaurant?
Pakula: Meatloaf from my mom. Firewater BBQ in Crest Hill.

Pakula: NFL Network. 'Win Win'.
Herron: Where's the best place that you've been and where would you like to visit?
Pakula: I took a cruise to the Bahamas. Hawaii.
