A woman allegedly crashed into a car occupied by her ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend, dragged the other woman out of the car by her hair and fought with her, police said.
About 6 p.m. Monday, Will County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the area of Frankfort Square Road and Graceland Lane in Frankfort Township after receiving a call of a reported fight, sheriff’s spokeswoman Kathy Hoffmeyer said. When deputies arrived, they reportedly saw Kristina Bolsoni, 24, of Peotone, fighting a 22-year-old woman, while other people were trying to break them up, Hoffmeyer said. Near the two women were two damaged cars.
After deputies investigated the incident, they learned the altercation reportedly started when Bolsoni went to pick up her 1-year-old daughter at a daycare in Frankfort Square. Bolsoni had apparently broken up with her 28-year-old boyfriend and texted him about who was going to pick up their daughter from the daycare.
Hoffmeyer said Bolsoni had told her boyfriend to pick up their daughter, but she decided to drive to the daycare with her friend and her 4-year-old daughter. Bolsoni allegedly admitted she went to the daycare to see if he would bring his new girlfriend. She had already picked up her daughter.
Her ex-boyfriend reportedly came to the daycare with his girlfriend. The other woman was driving her own car. When the two spotted Bolsoni, they drove away, Hoffmeyer said. Bolsoni then allegedly followed the two in her vehicle in a pursuit, in which both vehicles were traveling at 40 mph. Bolsoni’s ex-boyfriend’s girlfriend decided to pull over on Frankfort Square Road. Bolsoni allegedly tried to cut them off, but she was driving too fast and rearended the other vehicle.
Bolsoni allegedly got out of her car, opened the other car’s driver door and dragged the girlfriend out by her hair. Bolsoni also allegedly slapped her ex-boyfriend. Bolsoni was arrested. Her ex-boyfriend and his girlfriend were hospitalized.
