A 79-year-old Romeoville man considered missing and endangered was found Wednesday night in Michigan.
Romeoville police had sent out an alert Wednesday, asking residents to be on the lookout for a missing 79-year-old man.
Mariano Tello was last seen leaving his residence on Murphy Drive in Romeoville at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to the alert. He was driving to South Larkin Avenue in Joliet in a green 2016 Kia Soul SUV.
Tello was located about 5:30 p.m. that day in Muskegon County, Michigan, according to a Romeoville Police Department news release sent Thursday.
Tello suffers from physical and cognitive impairments that place him at risk, the alert said.
His family was notified and made arrangements to get Tello home safely.
“The Romeoville Police Department would like to thank the public in their support with helping to locate Mariano,” the release said.
