Arrest warrants have been issued for two men in separate cases where they have been charged with sexually assaulting minors in Joliet, according to court records.
Miguel G. Perez, 19, of the 600 block of Ca Crest Drive in Shorewood, and Kyler J. Hosanna, 38, of the 1700 block of Winger Drive in Plainfield, each face charges of criminal sexual assault and abuse of minors in separate cases.
Perez was also charged with choking a minor.
Both men were investigated by Joliet police detectives.
Will County Judge Derek Ewanic signed a warrant for Perez’s arrest on Sept. 3. Will County Judge Ed Burmila signed a warrant for Hosanna’s arrest on Friday.
A criminal complaint alleges Perez sexually assaulted a girl between July 5 and July 16 by “force or threat of force.” The victim was at least 13 but under 17 at the time the offenses were committed, according to the complaint, in which it is alleged that Perez choked the girl and grabbed her body.
The charges against Hosanna allege that he committed five separate acts of sexual assault on an underage female relative between Aug. 9 and 13.
Hosanna also sexually abused the girl between Aug. 5 and Aug. 6, and between Aug. 11 and Aug. 13, according to the complaint.
The victim was under 18 at the time of the incident, according to the complaint.
The arrest warrant for Hosanna lists his place of employment as Smithfield Foods in Lisle.
