My Joyful Heart, a Mokena-based non-profit that provides both life’s necessities and encouragement to Chicagoland’s children and teens, will host a fundraiser Nov. 16.
The event will be held 6 to 11 p.m. at Silver Lake Country Club at 14700 S. 82nd Ave. in Orland Park. The theme is "Night of a Thousand Lights."
Tickets are currently $50 a person or $400 a table of eight. Prices increase after Nov. 11.
Cost includes a family-style dinner, dancing, a cash bar and a silent auction. There currently are over 60 gift baskets for the silent auction.
Volunteer opportunities are available, as well as a needs list for the kids, which can be found on the website. Donations can be made online as well.
